Going on in my head.
The synapses are not firing
Serotonin is sinking.
I am popping Prozac
Like it’s from a Pez dispenser.
Norepinephrine is depleting
The pendulum is swinging
Toward mania.
My shrink says
It’s chemical warfare
And whips out his prescription pad
Like a weapon.
